Three-day workshops for the unemployed are currently being held in Bijelo Polje and throughout Montenegro within the Second Call of the Employment Service of Montenegro for the award of grants for self-employment.

"Over 160 people have so far expressed interest in doing business through the award of grants, of which 130 currently meet the conditions. We started with the workshops on Monday and today we end with two groups in which 40 people participate. At these workshops, the participants received detailed instructions on the conditions of the invitation, the application procedure as well as the development of a business plan "- said head of the Bijelo Polje Employment Service unit Slađana Nedović .

She pointed out that all participants in the workshops will have opportunity to receive detailed information's about registration of the company from representatives of the Association of Accountants.

"We note that representatives of the Association of Accountants responded to our invitation and accepted participation on a volunteer basis. We believe that by including representatives of the Association of Accountants, we will contribute to better information of interested parties and in that way we will decide whether they can and want to really realize the business idea. Also, during the preparation of business plans, as well as during the realization of the previous call, potential applicants will be provided with professional assistance by representatives of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje in the Office for Local Economic Development - KLER and the Office for European Projects "- said Nedović.

The deadline for the realization of the workshops is July 18, 2020, by which time all interested persons can apply to their advisor's. The three-day workshops are just one of the steps to the final selection of the best business ideas.
