"Golden key" to the municipality of Bijelo Polje for openness, cooperation with neighbors and development projects

The municipality of Bijelo Polje was awarded with the prestigious award of the 12th Danube Business Forum - "Golden Key" for openness, cooperation with neighbors and development projects.
This award was handed to chief of the Office for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje Dalibor Đogović in Novi Sad, and apart from Bijelo Polje, this year's "Golden Key" winners are Prnjavor, Pula, Kragujevac and Kraljevo.
The twelfth Danube Business Forum is organized with the aim of affirming prosperity and improving regional cooperation.
Dalibor Đogović thanked the organizers of the 12th Danube Business Forum for the award, and pointed out that it is proof of the dedicated work of the local administration in improving the business environment in Bijelo Polje. He stated that the Municipality of Bijelo Polje will continue with the implementation of development projects, with the aim that Bijelo Polje become recognized also as a regional tourist center.
Also, during the second day of the business forum, at a panel discussion with the theme "Open cities of the Balkans", Dalibor Đogović presented key capital projects that are being implemented in Bijelo Polje, as well as digital solutions which helped Municipality to improve its work and raise the level of transparency. Using examples, he explained how access to public services was made easier for citizens and said that work will continue to be done on the introduction of similar solutions.
The meeting gathered eminent experts, representatives of business, diplomacy, politics, science, culture and media from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.
The patrons of the meeting are the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Provincial Secretariat for the Economy of Vojvodina.
